Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving day isn’t a big thing here in the UK although some are starting to celebrate it. But for those of you from the USA who visit “papahood”, Happy Thanksgiving. We’ve all got so much to give thanks for. This blog – my “papahood” is one of so many things I’m thankful to God for. For some who are reading this, things might not be going so well but we’ve always got something to be thankful for. The chorus of an old hymn goes,
“Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your blessings, see what God has done!
Count your blessings, name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord has done”.

She is getting so big so quick! Very cute movie and it made me think of all the wonderful firsts you’ll be enjoying – first Christmas and New Year then a little while later first steps. This was Bruce’s first thanksgiving in America so I just had another first too! Enjoy your wee granddaughter, she is beautiful!
