Nativity Positivity

One of my earliest memories of Christmas was the nativity. Every Christmas my mum would bring out the box of decorations, the tree, the lights, then out would come the nativity figures each one carefully wrapped in cotton wool. As well as being taught the Christmas story in school, during the nativity plays and at church, it was something that was there in the home and we all knew what Christmas was about. Now I’ve got my own set of nativity figures that  I bring out each year and I can see the excitement in my own kids as they pick up the figures and retell the story. The nativity has had a positive affect on me, my family and my children even though Hope insists on calling the angel a fairy.

  1. Hi there Pete, loving the pictures and just to let you know I still have mum’s nativity figures and still build a stable and put them out. Poor baby Jesus has only 1 1/2 arms but they are still loved by my kids and grand daughter. Love to all. xxx
