Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and now Windows Vista. When I was younger, so much younger than today (Hey that’s a good line for a song – been done, ah well!), when I was younger the only windows I was interested in were either the round window, the square window, or the arched window. For those who never experienced the excitement when asked to “guess what window we’re going to see through today?” you don’t know what you missed. I am of course talking “Playschool” which was on at 4:20 on BBC1.
With characters like Jemima the rag doll, Humpty, Big Ted, Little Ted, and not forgetting Hamble the doll, “Playschool” was compulsive viewing for most youngsters back then. click here for “Playschool” trivia
