That Sinking Feeling.
Did you hear about the baby who tried tap dancing? She fell in the sink 
But seriously folks, Carrie gave me some pictures of Gracie in the kitchen sink and it took me right back to my childhood. 
I remember in the kitchen there was a huge double sink with a mangle (wringer) between each sink. It seems ‘Stone age’ but mum would do the washing in the sink then put it though the mangle to squeeze the water out then the clothes would be hung out to dry. Anyway I remember being bathed in the kitchen sink and from what I remember it was great. All the family, I think, were bathed in the sink. Now the sinks are far too small, there’s hardly enough room for the dishes never mind children.
That reminds me when we used to go to auntie bea’s and she had a huge laundry boiling thingy that she used to heat the water up to a nice temperature and then drop us in!!!! Thank goodness she remembered to switch it off.
