Goliath
Yesterday we went on a steam train from Paignton to Kingswere, about a thirty minute journey. The route took us along the coast and the views were spectacular. When we arrived at Kingswere we took the ferry crossing to Dartmouth which takes about 5 minutes, we just had enough time to grab some lunch before heading back on our return journey. The sights, sounds, and smells of steam travel are unforgettable. Here are a few pictures of the train (Goliath), I couldn’t resist posing again.
Oh! I nearly forgot, Carrie sent me a text last night telling me that Gracie has her first tooth. I can’t wait to see it and her. We begin our journey home tomorrow.
