Gracie’s 1st Birthday
Gracie was a bit like the queen, she had two birthdays. The first was with her Granny and Grandad where she wasn’t a queen, she was a fairy princess and she looked gorgeous. Then she was with gran and papa. I’m not sure she knew quite what to make of everything, when it comes to birthdays babies are a bit like older people, they wonder what all the fuss is about. Parents and grandparents were much more excited than she was. I’ve made up a short birthday movie. The background music will be recognisable to those over 40, It’s Clare Grogan & Altered Images singing Happy Birthday and I’ve included a clip of them performing on Top of The Pops way back in 1981.
