Hello Tombliboos!

It took me quite a while but I got used to the “Teletubbies” and could eventually tell the difference between Laa-Laa and Tinky Winky. But the other week I was introduced to a new children’s programme that makes the Teletubbies seem quite sensible. It’s called “In The Night Garden“, and Gracie loves it. Let me introduce you to the characters from the “Night Garden”. There is Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy, and Makka Pakka.

Then we have the three Tombliboos Unn Ooo and Eee. you can distinguish them by there colours but don’t ask me which is which.

There is the Ninky Nonk (I kid you not) which is a kind of train thing.

There is also the Pinky Ponk (Yes, that’s what I said) which is a sort of Zeppelin. There is a family of red peg-dolls called Pontipines and some colourful funny shaped pillow things called Haahoos.

Well if you manage to take all that in then you are Night Garden experts. Your children/grandchildren will love these characters. Here is Gracie, engrossed, bewildered, bemused by an episode of  “In The Night Garden”
