“Christmas Stookie”
We took Hope to the fracture clinic today and fortunately there was no need to reset the bone. They removed the old plaster cast and took her to the plaster room to have a new one put on. “what colour plaster do you want Hope?” they asked. “We have a special plaster for this time of year”. Well I was expecting them to show her plaster with glitter mixed in it but out came the “Christmas stookie” complete with snow flakes, Christmas trees, Santas and snowmen. Well of course she picked that one, who wouldn’t, I almost wished I had a broken arm myself. She couldn’t wait for me to take a picture and is desperate to get back to school to show it off.

We never got nice ones in our day just white ones for our friends and family to decorate but ours were cool.x,x,x,x,.
