I Survived Year One!
A year ago today I started my full-time babysitting role and my blog for that day was titled “I Survived Day One”, hence the reason for today’s title. Back then I said that if they (babies) cried it was for one of three reasons:
- They need fed
- They need changed
- They need sleep
A year on I would like to add to the list two needs that may not be reasons for them crying but are important needs none-the-less:
They need entertained, Whether it be with movies, songs, stories, games, and most importantly, They need love and affection – lots of hugs.
I can honestly say it has been so much easier than I ever thought it would be, without being in anyway biased, Gracie has been a great girl to watch and has never caused me the slightest bother. So here’s to the second year of babysitting which starts tomorrow.
