“PAPAHOOD”

It was my baby sister’s 40th birthday last week and a surprise party was organised for her on Saturday, and boy was she surprised. She cried for about an hour, tears of joy I hope, but had great time with family and friends. I was saying to people how I remember watching out the living room window as my mum carried her new baby (Rosemary) in after arriving back from the hospital. I even remember my mum sitting her on my knee and letting me have a go at feeding her. Wow! that surely wasn’t 40 years ago was it?  Sometimes I really do feel old.

My sister Isy was talking to me on the phone earlier and mentioned that her friends Kirsty and David are getting married soon and that reminded me of a video someone showed me last week of a couple called Jill and Kevin and their entrance into church for their wedding. If you’ve five minutes to spare then it’s well worth watching and if anyone out there is thinking of tying the knot then may this inspire you to do something original for your wedding.
