A Mill and a Museum

Yesterday was our wedding anniversary, 9 years married (it only seems like 9 weeks) so last night we went out for a meal. We drove out to the Devon countryside to a place called “Turtley Corn Mill” where we had a fabulous meal. If you want to look at the menu just to make your mouth water then [click here]. The apricot and walnut sponge with butterscotch sauce and clotted cream was the nicest dessert I’ve tasted.

Today we’ve had 18 hole of crazy golf and a look at the helium balloon. I was going to be brave and go up in it this time but the wind was a bit to strong so it was grounded, Awww.

Had a wander round Torquay Museum. It has a great Agatha Christie exhibit, Gillian is a fan of Hercule Poirot. The kids preferred the Lion skin in the African exhibit.
